​We have teamed up with High Level Throwing® again to bring you some game-changing throwing sessions!

​

This clinic will be run by Sarah O’Brien with sessions focusing on the Foundations of High Level Throwing® & Advanced Concepts for Softball and Baseball Athletes!

​

High Level Throwing® is a specialized overhand throwing training system developed by Austin Wasserman to maximize velocity, improve accuracy, and reduce arm injuries in baseball and softball athletes. The system teaches athletes how to optimize their body’s kinetic chain through specific mechanical sequences and drill progressions rather than relying solely on arm strength

The Biomechanical Sequence

The core philosophy revolves around a strict bottom-up sequencing pattern to generate maximum whip and tension:

• Hip Internal Rotation: The movement initiates with the rear hip and femur rotating internally inside the hip joint.

• Pelvic Rotation: The hips drive open toward the target while the upper torso stays back, creating hip-to-shoulder separation.

• Torso Acceleration: The trunk and thoracic spine counter-rotate and explode forward, creating stretch and resistance.

• Scapular Patterning: The shoulder blades work back dynamically to efficiently load the arm.

• Arm Unraveling: The forearm uncoils through external rotation into a clean, position-specific release slot.

The system is widely integrated by youth, travel, and NCAA college programs (including Iowa State University and the University of Iowa) as well as Major League Baseball teams.

**Softball and baseball players and coaches from all clubs and teams are welcome to sign up for the clinic.​

• Session 5: Sunday, August 16th @ 9AM-11AM (Ages 12+)

• Session 7: Sunday, August 16th @ 230PM-430PM (Ages 12+)
